To a friend....

I'm sorry.
Perhaps you do not realize it.
But i still would want to say: I am sorry.
For i treated you as a tool.
A tool to help me forget the one that stole my heart.
Perhaps you may not forgive me.
But whatever you feel, i just want to let you know,
that you remain in my heart as a trustwrthy friend.
It shall not falter nor will it diminish.
Right now, i cannot overcome my guilt.
