That day, i watched a movie on television. Something i rarely do. hehe....^^ But anyway the story was very sad and touching. This korean movie was adapted from an English literature "Daddy-long-legs".

There was this orphan girl who received a present from a mysterious man. It was a big sum of money for her university studies as well as a necklace. The girl kept trying to find the man, but she could not find him. So she nicknamed him "daddy-long-legs".

She got a job as a program instructor in the radio station after graduating. In order to find this 'daddy-long'legs', she transformed part of her story into the program, hoping that perhaps this mystery man will appear.

Part of her stories were about this girl who fell in love with a boy in high school. To persue him, she studied hard so she could join him in his university. However, she did not have the courage to tell him that she loved him. By the time she tried to tell him, he already has a girlfriend. Yet, she could not forget him.

One day this girl of her story fell ill. Her brain was infected. Soon she will start to loose her memory and ultimately, she will die. In order to keep the memory of him, she would write down every detail about him everyday and post it on a bulletin board.

Meanwhile, in real life, the orphan girl was dating with a guy working in her station's library.

It was under coincidence she found out that she got the job through the manager. Just when she thought the manager was her 'daddy-long-legs', it turned out that the manager was just helping his younger brother---her boyfriend.

She was even more shocked when she found out that the boyfriend was suffering from a terminal brain disease. She regretted so much that she didn't stop to look around her, that the man who cared for her was actually by her side all this while.

When Christmas came, she went to the themepark once more and said aloud to the stars. "You lied. U asked me to wish upon the shooting star. But it never came true. Did you know what i wished? I wished that we could come here again and again to see the stars." Saying that, she broke into tears as the first snow fell from the sky.

So, friends, at some point of your life, stop and look around you. Have you missed something? Have you not noticed that someone is out there, caring for you all this while? Well, perhaps now is a good time to think.^^
