Think of me....

Think of me think of me fondly, when we've said goodbye. Remember me once in a while - please promise me you'll try. When you find that once again you long

to talk your heart back and be free - if you ever find a moment spare a thought for me...

Oh yes, lovey lovey Phantom Of The Opera, one of the most celebrated musicals that’s been re-staged hundreds of times. I and my sister went for the Tuesday night show. And was I surprised to see people in T-shirts and jeans. I guess they’re REALLY lucky to be allowed admittance. But truly, it’s a total disrespect for the people on stage!

The Victoria Concert Hall at the Esplanade was packed that night, as usual. We were lucky to get foyer seats, since we booked early on the net. Tickets were running out fast, and because of that, the show was extended until May. So guys, if you want to see the show,

GET TICKETS NOW.

The show went on very much like the film, only even better. Be prepared to see flying chandeliers, rowing boats and hanging bridges. The singing was even more fantastic. I fell in love with the voice of the Phantom(Brad Little)! Oh my god. I think he’s the second best after the original phantom, Michael Crawford. I was just mesmerized when he sang.

The only thing I didn’t quite like was the seat designs. They were leaned straight against the railings in a semi-circle. It made my neck really uncomfortable because I had to turn my head sideways to see the performance. After the intermission we thought it best to simply sit SIDEWAYS to relieve the stiff muscles from our neck.

After the two-and-a-half-hour show, my sister and I walked to the nearest bus stop. (I said nearest, but it wasn’t exactly NEAR in terms of the walking distance.) Usually I wouldn’t have complained. But for some reason, my left foot was aching. The pain in my bone was causing me to limp all the way. I almost cried.

So if any of you guys watching the show at the side seats, remember to sit like this:

Oh, and those sitting on level 2 onwards, bring a pair of good binoculars. They work like wonders.^^
