NASI BRIYANI

Oh yeah. One of my favorite dishes, the Nasi Briyani. There’s this hawker centre near my place that serves delicious Briyani rice. It’s the best I’ve tasted so far. So during the Labor Day holidays when I express my yearning to eat it again, my sister came up with a cooler idea. Home make Nasi Briyani.

So this morning we walked over to NTUC to buy the ingredients. We woke up around 9am and by the time we finish our grocery shopping we decided to have breakfast at the nearby MacDonald’s. Guess what? My sister’s Sausage McMuffin with Egg, which came late, was UNCOOKED. The meat was COLD. Then when she asked them to make another one, they totally forgot about it until she asked for it.

By the time we reached home, it was almost noon. (We had brunch.) We got ourselves busy making the Briyani. While it was being cooked, we spring cleaned the house. By night time, we sat down for a scrumptious Briyani meal while watching Chicken Little on DVD. Ahh…..tasted so gooood.
