I don't get it. Why do most people think that studying music are for those who are incapable in their studies? That it is for those who fail in their academics and therefore have no other options but music. If only they could see the sacrifice we made. The movies, parties and gatherings that I missed during my school days, when all the rest are enjoying life. When i endure at least 3 hours every day on the piano and another 3 hours on the violin, there you were, enjoying movies and pop music. Some people don't get it, why we must spend hours practicing. They think what is there to practise? They think, that the reason they can enjoy superb music is a simple study overnight sort of study routine. THINK AGAIN.

The cost of studying music is equivalent to studying to be a doctor. And if you could just use your brains to work out for yourself WHY it is equivalent, perhaps you'll understand why i let go an opportunity of lab studies to one that i will enjoy and not be patronized!
