beer + beethoven = ?

I am so yearning for a holiday, I guess my impatience lead me to stay out of the house most of the time.^^

Last week while everyone was enjoying their Deepavali public holiday, we teachers had to teach as usual. But I decided to start early and end early that day. Then my friend called me and asked if I wanted to catch the movie, Lions For Lambs that night. Unfortunately, since it was the opening screen day, by the time we wanted to choose our sitting, only the first row was left. It will definitely leave us with headaches. So we head out for a drink instead.

We went to this cozy little bar and sat down to listen to a guitar-voice duo as they sing away to pop songs. Whenever the singing got too loud, we stopped chatting momentarily and turned to our beer instead. Wanna know how many bottles I had in the end? One. My friend drank 4 bottles and he was still pretty much sober. He’s a real pro, man!

Then yesterday, I and another friend went to Werkz Photography to pick up our bachelor’s robe. (Convocation’s this Saturday. So excited!!!! =P ) The shop was at Little India, since Bugis was just next door, we decided to head to Bugis for some shopping as well. That’s when I got myself 2 belts. *feeling a bit guilty*

After the shopping we went to NUS for a free chamber concert. Too bad the program was ALL VIOLIN SONATAS. Some more they’re all Beethoven with only one Mozart. Sigh….
