YooHoo!! Back home in Ipoh for another 1 or 2 weeks before i START WORK! Yup! I just signed a contract in Singapore, going to teach for the meantime over there starting in November.

So the past few days i've been lazing about my siblings apartment. Besides cleaning house, watching animes, movies and comics, i would go around town trying to figure out the bus routes.

I had a rather embarrasing experience on the of my 1st day of observation. As a freshy, i was supposed to attend observations on a class conducted by an experienced teacher. So i took the bus 174 to Orchard Road. But as time passed, i started to feel strange. The roads became more and more isolated and the bus ride was VERY LONG. before i knew it, i was in JURONG!!! (That's like, on the other end of Singapore mainland.)>o< What to do? Take again lo. Luckily i was at the interchange station. So i walked over to the other end and took 174 again lo. By the time i reached the centre i was 2 hours late and missed 2 lessons already. *sob*

Then on my 2nd day of observation on Sunday, i was suddenly called to do relief teaching at thier branch school at Parkway Parade. I had NO IDEA how to teach before this. Besides being a little shocked by thier action, i was even more shocked to find out that i was called in to teach PIANO beginners.(Originally i opted to teach violin)So the day went by having to teach 6 little kiddies. Fortunately they all kept notebooks. So i just continued with what their teacher taught last week. Some were adorable, some smart, some talkative. Most were co-operative, except one. Sigh....How to teach a talkative kid who keeps saying 'NO' to your requests? *headache* She'll make excuses like,"how much time left?" or "could i go to toilet?" -_-#

What was perceived as a catastrophy for me that day actually turned out to be quite good. The branch person-in-charge said she already informed the committee that i did a great job. *pengsan* (faint) I suddenly got the feeling that i was 'framed' and tested without my knowlege. Oh well, there's still a LONG way ahead. Hopefully i don't get too much problematic kids. The centre is SO magnamous to pass me this teenager who's in for the November Trinity GRADE 5 violin exam. Furthermore, i'm to accompany her on piano. I can already feel the rope closing in on my neck. If she fails, i die. As simple as that. T_T

By the way, anybody heard of DeathNote the manga? I'm simply drooling over it. The life-time movie is coming soon to Singapore screen theatres.^^
